seeing as the HBO seriies is diverging from the original source material, two characters we need to see again:
Syrio Forel, and Jaqen H'ghar

Also to ANYONE who is a fan of this series, either the show or the books, if you have not seen SouthPark's 3 episode tribute/spoof of GoT, you do yourself and the 7 realms a great disservice

Also curious to see the new Daario Naharis, I thought the first actor was great.
And unfortunately, Emilia Clarke has stated that she will no longer do nudity, let us all shed a collective tear.

I am a lil sad about it but she is still a great actress and it makes sense she has no reason to be nude now no husband or love interests and also she is still quite beautiful regardless... well I mean I prefer he character really bleach blonde hair to her natural brown hair color. Also I am a great fan of The Hound and arya together as a ying an yang type of characters I hope he trains her to be a awesome warrior/sword fighter seeking revenge.

Diverging how? Only in a couple subminor character plot lines to avoid more backstory that still hasn't led anywhere in the books

there was an anouncement that starting this season, they (HBO) are going to introduce major plotline changes.

Any one catch any of the episodes last nite.
First i had ever seen or heard of the show.
I thought it was pretty good, just dont
know the characters and such.

WOW!
They knocked it out of the park with the premier!

Only a few minor complaints- The new Daario Naharis- we are just supposed to go with the fact that he is a brunette instead of a blond? ok. Before he looked like a badass, now he looks like an extra from Pirates of the Caribean, but OK.

And just a minor dork/nerd point but, if they were going to stay loyal to the books (not!) the Unsullied drink a potion called the Wine of Courage, which renders them incapable of feeling pain, so Grey Work would have won the contest.

Yeah for some reason, they replaced him (Ed Skien) with this new guy.
They announced the replacement around 6 months ago. The new guy was fine, but I felt Ed Skien really sent it home, and had that perfect balance of male supermodel look balanced with badass warrior, aslo he clearly looked like he was a$$-over-teakettel in love with Daenerys, and I am not getting that from this new guy.

They have also replaced Gregor Clegane (The Mountain) but whatever- he was already played by 2 different guys, so why not a third? Lol.

Also, the original guy who was supposed to play Oberyn Martel, the Red Viper of Dorn, was replaced, but the guy they picked was pretty good, I cannot wait to see the fight scene...

They have even done an episode of Community about people who have not seen this show.
