Get the Trapster app or Cobra iRadar app and Detector. When you see a trap you can report it. Others with the app report it too. The apps tell you before you get to the trap. It also tells you of upcoming red light camera intersections. It uses GPS location to report. It's good in states that don't let you use radar detectors. The network of observers are your detectors. The more users. The more accurate. It's as good as your 3G or 4G coverage.
Trapster is free. The Cobra detector is around $125 and the iRadar app is free. The detector is blue tooth and links into the car radio (if it has blue tooth). Laser jammer and iRadar would be ideal. Or flash your lights. Some divided highways make it difficult to flash oncoming traffic. Yes it is angering they are profiling yellow and orange cars while real crimes are cooking within eyeshot of the road you're on.

Good, if the whole thing is to slow people down then flashing our brights does the job. Oh that's right it's not about safety but revenue generation. I do the same thing for those dui checkpoints.
