Challenger looks better to me.
As much as I like the current Mustang, I still see a 3 year old car when I look at it.

Challenger. But I'd buy the mustang since it has a more affordable V8 and isn't terribly unattractive either.

Although I've seen the Challenger concept in person, I'll wait to see the production version in person before choosing.
But if I had to choose at this moment, I'd vote for the Challenger. As stated above, the current Mustang is getting a little "long in the tooth". Plus, I'd never live it down if I opted for a Ford. My sister and her boyfriend are lifelong Ford/Mustang enthusiasts/owners. |

Challenger.
I just don't like anything about the Mustang (really, all of Ford's lineup). It's not that it's all bad, just nothing really jumps out at you or makes you want to buy it/drive it/be seen in it/etc. Plain...well, that's really only part of it (I will say that the latest body style is far better than the previous one). I don't know, it just seems like there isn't much substance there and yet they didn't do much to even give the appearance of substance. To me, the Challenger at least looks the part. Now, I can only assume that either Hemi under the hood would back that up, I don't know for sure, but if nothing else it looks the part. If we were talking about a Shelby GT500KR or a Super Snake, then I'd probably lean towards the Mustang. Those look the part for sure and have the substance to back it up. |

I'm not a big fan of the Challenger. Its way too heavy. The Camaro will be heavy enough. However, the question is about styling. Until I see a Challenger on the streets, to get an idea of its road presence and such, I'm gonna have to go with the Mustang.

The Challenger looks better, but the Mustang is more drivable because it isn't a highway cruise boat.

To be honest at this time it would have to be the Mustang. But Let wait and see what SEMA has for dress up kits for the Challenger.

Straight from the production line...
If I were just going on pics I'd say Mustang. It's certainly more photogenic than the Challenger. But having seen the production version of the Challenger in person at the Philly Auto Show I'd say the Challenger is more attractive in person. If we're including such things as a Saleen model Mustang... I have to say Mustang. But the Mustang NEEDS those body kits to look good imo. |

Go ahead, put a dress on it. A pig with a dress is still a pig. Mustang hands down.
