I believe Lotus is foreign owned too. Tata strikes me as being somewhat like Golden Palace Casino, in that they'll do or buy anything just to get attention.

After some more digging, right you are...Lotus is owned by a Malaysian auto maker. They are still built in the UK, but the company is foreign owned.
