Per the Bowling Green Assembly Plant website, the plant is closed from Dec 19 to Jan 3. That's why my delivery date is Dec16th.

They do shutdowns twice a year to do inventory, do maintenance, etc. Every facility does this, not just Bowling Green.

My dad got called in to help out with all of that the week of the 4th of July one year and made triple his usual hourly rate.

Based on the Bowling Green Webpage stating that they are closed for two weeks I would say yes this is true
