If it's a new Chevy car...I think chances are it's going to be adopting the family resemblance. See Malibu, Traverse, Cruze....I'm interested to see what it'll look like, though.

EDIT, also...unless the source was wrong, it sounds like they're going to take Zeta II (Camaro) and "rebuild" the Caprice/G8 over that modified chassis. So it might not be a simple badge-swap like we thought.

I'm hoping that they carry over the Commodore trim philosophy from the current gen. Meaning a base, Lux and SS like their Aussie counterparts.

GM already has a 3 tier trim. LS LT LTZ for most cars. LTZ AKA 2LT.

The Aus. Commodores differ via function. You have your:
Base/Functional: Omega and Omega V
Performance: SV6, SS, and SSV
Luxury: Berlina, Calais, Calais V

Essentially Performance is almost like the camaro LS, LT, and SS to a tee, while the Luxury is a CTS, CTS Uptrim and CTSV.

Talk about a brainburner..
