ehhhhhhhh need to see it in person. Judging solely from the pics, I wouldnt touch the Chevy with a ten foot pole. Looks like it was made with Lego's. Going just by pictures, the HD chevys make the Super Duty Ford's look like super models. But my opinion could change when I see it in person. I wasnt wild on the new 1500 chevy either but saw a few in person and I think they are gorgeous now.
The Sierra Denali looks ok with the black bumpers |

Looks like the person who came up w/ the idea for the lights & grill liked it so much he/she decided to put it on there twice.
Not a pretty truck IMO. |

I was kinda expecting to see a bit more of an improvement in payload & towing over the outgoing models. But I guess if you are carrying over the powertrains, there isn't going to be a whole lot gains to be made.
As for styling, since that seems to be what everyone else is talking about with these trucks ... just like on the 1/2 tons, I prefer the look of the Chevy over the GMC. Still think the Silverado 1500 looks the best of GMs new trucks though. The Sierra HD carries the styling a bit better than its little brother though. The GMC styling looks like it would work extremely well on a medium or heavy duty truck (cargo vans up to lighter dump trucks) if GM ever decides to go back into that market.

The 6.0 is a great engine. I put 320,000 miles on a 6.0. As long as you change oil...........

I cant take my eyes away from the giant gaping whole of space at the wheel wells. Too big and too square. Makes your tires look like a fat guy in a little coat. Truck is ok otherwise. I wouldn't be inclined to buy it over the Dodge, Ford offerings.

All the HD trucks have a ton of space above the wheels.

Damn these trucks are ugly. As far as towing goes they are not even close to Ram.

Max tow ratings don't mean a whole lot unless you've got a commercial drivers license anyway.

6.0 is a good engine but extremely dated and a pig on fuel.
