But still how the league is set up should somewhat determine your draft "strategy".

And FYI all yahoo public money leagues are 3 WR/2 RB..I should know I'm in 6

Speaking of that I haven't even looked at how the free Camaro league is set up.

Op...how many teams are in the league, do you have a draft order yet and if so where are you drafting, and finally what do the positions look like? Is it 2 RBS, 2 wrs, and a flex?

Which one?... there are 3 and one is customized to be a keeper league.

Who to draft really depends on your draft position and the league scoring system. For example I have been in leagues where QB touchdown passes are for 6 pts and in others where they are worth 4 pts so a QB can be more valuable in some formats. As a general rule star RB's are harder to come by so if you can get one of the top ones I would draft them first. Decent QB's and WR are easier to find.

tell us what draft order you have. a lot of people recommend RB,RB,WR for your first3 rounds. that's just a general rule. this year, it seems that QB is a pretty stacked position. lots of good/decent qb's can be had in later rounds.

RB first, I have drafted a QB first when I had the 1st or 2nd pick in the draft, but
99% of the time I go with a RB

There's also the IDP league I'm running (which means it includes defensive players, not just whole teams).

On the other hand, if you have a late mid or late pick in the first, your best bet is to get the number 1 WR, if they are available. Reason for this is, if you pick a second tier RB in the first, by the time you are ready to pick WR, you'll be picking second tier WR as well. You'll end up with just an average looking team. Not saying you can't win, because no one can tell the future.

Yup. I've seen people win it all after they had auto draft pick for them. Lol
