@ Smike07...I'm definitely taking note of everything you're saying but i'm not liking the sound of ROTC. lol But you do make a good point. And thanx again...I'll be headed out to a few restaurant's and stores to fill out applications in a few hours

just letting you guys know that I filled out applications for Olive Garden and Red Lobster today. i'll still be searching tho

Dad did white collar crime, terrorism, bank robberies, civil rights violations, ..., etc, etc, a whole bunch of stuff. The only problem in his eyes...you MUST retire at 55. He was only getting started. Retired as Assistant Deputy Director....pretty much 3rd from the top. Now works as VP in charge of Global Security for Disney makin' the big bucks.

I kinda feel bad for him...he really loved the FBI. Lotsa good people and so many stories to tell. He had a world of fun with them. If this is what you want to do, GO FOR IT. He tried getting me to go federal also, but...I just love the local stuff...and no desks for me!! At least, not for a good while until I finally decide to test up for Detective. Good luck!

At anyrate, my advice is too look in your area for a good internship / co-op that you can take on while you are in school and that will hire you when you finish. I work full time for Lockheed Martin and I technically dont finish until may.

once again i work full time for AT&T and make a gang of money. but in all seriousness, go to CIA. that way when ppl ask what you do... you just make it up, or you'd have to kill 'em
