I didn't end up buying one at a Chevy dealer the above car is being purchased from CarMax, the dealership was overpricing their cars and then failing to return my calls and I got tired of dealing with them. The IROC is hurting these days, one of the reasons I ended up getting a new car is to pull her off the road and rebuild her engine. She recently developed an annoying habit of shutting off or lurching when the gas pedal is pressed.
We've narrowed it down to a float issue in the carb, but finding someone capable of working on the carb has been somewhat problematic made mroe annoying by the fact that it has some sort of electrical controls. Even the Chevy dealer couldn't help me... which confused the hell out of me since Chevy built the car. There are additional pics of the IROC in the "Garage" section of my profile. |
