the ticket clinic is probably going to be your cheapest option. Seeing as all they do is tickets they are known to be pretty good at it.

it comes down to what is more important, point and insurance rates or the money for the lawyer.

you won't find any "standard" law practice that will beat the $600 of ticket clinic, most are $250/hour with a $1500 - $2500 retainer..

and being you are out of state would make it even more if they have to drive any distance to meet with you.

If it was me I would find a ticket lawyer with an office closest to the courthouse. All you're paying for is the buddy system.

Yep. Your paying a friend of some one in the court who will agree to plea out your ticket for lesser offense. Lawyer makes money and the court gets more money. Part of the deal since they know you will save money by not having it reported.to your insurance. Had the lawyer tell me how it worked last time I needed.it.

You want someone who has good contacts in that courthouse.

Now that's some good news there. You sir, just made my next vacation more fun.

What I meant was if you find a traffic lawyer close to the courthouse then you will more than likely find someone who has the pull to do what needs to be done - or at least give you realistic advice based on his knowledge of the judges and prosecutor for that specific court. He/she wouldn't be setting up an office there if they couldn't get the job done.

The guys who deal with traffic tickets normally get several piled up from clients, then visit the court, and work them all at one time prior to your court date. Now this is for the stuff that isn't major - and 22 over could be problematic. That is why you pay for a contact - someone who knows what they can get done for you.

I haven't looked for your area but I've found sites that rate lawyers and I would think Riverside would have enough around there that you could find someone on line.

Well for Pennsylvania at least they may reciprocate the information but minor violations including speeding, red lights, stop signs won't show up on a Pa drivers record and they won't issue points for those out of state violations its specifically written into their code. Obviously, there are exceptions but mail in tickets for speeding or other minor violations are exempt.
