I know your kidding, but when chevy discontinued the camaro in 2002, the mustang was basically the pu$$y getter for 8 years, I have a camaro now, but still have a soft spot for a nice mustang.

Actually, I never owned a Camaro. I just thought I would for almost 4 years (hence the username) before changing my mind at the last minute.

yes, my camaro is (not doing it until tomorrow) a V6. My dad has had a 2011 mustang GT since 2011 and i love the engine in them.

the price i got on the mustang is $22,825. only getting $21,500 for my trade in :/
the mustang has 35k miles on it. my camaro has 6k miles.

for the record:
-i still think the camaro body style looks better
-i still think the camaro handles better
-i still like the interior of the camaro better
-would probably still take an SS over a GT 5.0 if price was equal.

on the other hand:
-V6 VS. V8...enough said
-V6 camaro = 17city/28hwy...V8 mustang = 17city/26hwy MPG
-i like the 5.0 engine better than the LS3 stock (LS3 is better for modding i think)
-i could not find a camaro SS in my price range =(
-i like the color scheme much better. sorry, but i see silver cars WAAAY too often to like silver anymore.
-the sound of the stock 5.0 engine/exhaust is incredible.

I guess you came out ok on price then. And once you get more seat time and get more acclimated, I think you'll change your mind on the handling aspect. Handling and all that subjective "feel" stuff was the main reason I changed my mind after a few test drives of each.

Me too. I think the 2013-14 Mustang looks swollen and mis-shaped...it's almost like the 2010-12 looks ready for a fight, while the 2013-14 looks like its already been in one.
