V-10s belong in Supercars not Pony Cars. You all know they are bringing back the 426 Hemi...right? Thats probably what hey will use. As far as bringing back the Barracuda name is a big mistake. The Cuda was plymouth not a dodge so let it Rest in peace with its Plymouth headstone. What they should have done was waited a revived the Dodge Dart GT name instead of sticking it on that 4 door sedan. Should named the Sedan a Swinger or something if they wanted to go retro. Go with the Dart GT instead of Cuda.

An SRT8 and ZL1 are all but the same weight. It's the 110hp advantage that hurts the challenger.

Many of you don't want to hear this but...the Challenger is the better looking car than the Camaro or Mustang.

Challenger just had it best sales month ever since 1974. They are now thinking about being in for the long haul.

True
But today our cars stand out because 95% of the other cars on the road are just ugly and boring. 40 or 50 years ago good styling was expected. Look at old 70s and beyond Toyotas, Datsun, and Hondas, they set the standard for ugly and boring.

I don't begrudge any of the three in this performance battle, We all benefit in the end!

They haven't had a need to compete with a ZL1 or 1 LE. If they put their minds to it, there is lots of room to lighten a Challenger, and make it handle. That said, I still wouldn't buy one. I never liked the Challenger when it first came out, and I worked for Chrysler then. Didn't like the styling then, and don't like it now.

It's not for everyone. I tend to notice that guys seem to like them more than women.

Got that right. I was at the AZ Chrysler Proving grounds a few years ago. I was talking with the guys there, and they were trying to get Chrysler to make a re-do of the '68 Charger. (One that looked like a '68) Home office said no. Nobody would buy it. Boy, were they wrong. And stupid.
