Hope they can bring it up above par for the course by the time it hits the market. Any word on giving Corvette its soul back? Looks like a ripped off euro-clone that's trying extra hard to be noticed. Bringing the Stingray nameplate back seems like a good idea to me, but there's no Stingray left in this car. Plenty of Viper, Ferrari and GTR though.

That said, I'm not a huge fan of the new Viper aesthetically either, but at least it still looks like a Viper.

And I realize that the Camaro was a massive victory for Chevy, but that's no reason to put Camaro cues on everything else in the Chevy lineup. Oughtta leave that to Chrysler.

If you're talking about the taillights, the Camaro taillights are Corvette inspired in the first place.

Your Camaro is a fail. What did you DO to that thing? Sure hoping the car in your sig is Photoshopped. If not, you should build a tutorial thread on how to exaggerate a beautiful GM design into dismal aftermarket hideousness.

I know this, but that's a step UP for Camaro. Isn't stealing Camaro cues kind of a step DOWN for Corvette?

I agree, they shoulve made it 480, 450 is too weak with all the hp averages cars are coming out with, expecially for a vette, have the Z0 come in at 550, Zr1 upper 600s

As for the design cues, I can see some resemblemence of other cars, espically Camaro. Which I might add, love the look but figured those were going to be the tail lights for the 6th gen (our tails just slanted) now im curious what Camaro is going to do

NOWWWWWWWWWW

Have you guys seen the photoshop of the C7 with a traditonal rear window? Looks MUCH more Vette, in fact it changes the entire look of the car

If you guys have seen the vert, it also has a more Vette look then the coupe

What were you expecting? 700RWHP? The horsepower wars will reach it's limit eventually whether forced by the government or chosen by automakers.

I think 480 is a reasonable expectation. Look at SRT and Camaro SS, I mean you can buy a 30k Camaro with 430hp

I don't think 500 would be unreasonable- obviously the intent was to WOW the consumer. 450 does not anymore.

But I agree, even 480, 485 would've been better.

But we have to give applause to that interior! Damn, As long as its reliable, it is definitly a beautiful interior.

The exterior design, I personally really love it, just wish it had the traditional style rear window. Would make it soo much more "vette' and true

when you drive the lightest sports car on the planet then come back on here and post what you think. that 450 plus HP feels like no other.... it may not everything you want but it is very impressive !!!! defiantly not a FAIL!!! come on!!! thats almost like saying the camaro sucks because it didn't come standard with leather seats
