I never pay attention to gas prices...I have to pay it anyways...

Its not like people are like, "Argh! Gas is $5 a gallon? I'm walking X miles to Y."

It's $3.59 for regular and I think $3.79 for premium in south Texas. It was $2.95 for regular a couple weeks ago!

Don't know, don't care.... If I did, I'd sell my camaro and buy a volt..... My 71 gets like 4-5 mpg, and she takes 24 gallons of 91. Still wanna gripe?

Also there has been a rumor that my Michigan governor wants to add a state wide 20 cent gas price increase, to help pay for the roads. Anyone else in the Detroit area or elsewhere around the U.S. think gas will be outrageous this summer??
It's worse when my winter vehicle is a gas guzzling Dodge Ram... 10mpg!! But I wouldn't mind the gas tax if they would actually fix some of these roads... have you ever been down Dequindre in Troy?? TERRIBLE

Now that is ridiculous.
Back to the OP, doesn't your registration and license fees go to that? Gas prices do suck and I feel your pain like everyone else, it hurts but you have to pay to play.

Come visit Cleveland. You need a tank for some of these roads.

It hasnt been low in like 7 years, why would we cheer? $3.00 a gallon is not cheap. Right now 93 is $4.05 by me. I was reading and they are predicting the national average to be $5.00 by summer. Im looking for a beater daily driver. Save some miles on the Camaro!
