That was a pretty bad rollout for the car. The Teutles (sp?) are awful when working from a script. They should have done a better video, showing more muscle car cliche shots -massive burnout, dirt road powerslides, even a 1/4 mile run perhaps? I was expecting something as big and exciting as the car itself is

looks great, but the weight, gas mileage and performance are unacceptable.

Looks good but on the weight HOLY CRAP she's hefty...

Not to impressed with the performance specs either...

I would be very disappointed if the Camaro was released with these kinds of specs...

For a while, I've been thinking about threads that ask what would make me not want a Camaro. These numbers would do it.

How is it that the Challenger weighs more then the Charger. One is a 2 door the other a 4 door. How does that work. The Charger weighs 500 pounds less. Figure that one out.

Perhaps its because it . . . err . . . umm . . . no idea. Its also shorter by a few inches. Maybe they had to do a bunch of re-inforcing to make up for the larger open area. But 500 lbs is alot of steel. The interior is pretty much the same, there is less frame . . . I have no clue where that weight came from

I have a feeling the answer is that the Challenger has more metal in it than the Charger... if I had to guess, just looking at the pics available, I'd say that the doors and front quarter panels are made of steel... something that the Charger does not have.

so, this car weighs in at over 2 tons, has 3.06 gears, is available only in auto and still gets to 60mph in the low 5 second range? something's out of kilter here, and I'm betting its the weight of the car.

Actually the Challenger is 1 inch longer than a 300C. How in the hell did they manage that? The looks are growing on me but it's entirely too heavy, 1,100lbs more than what I'm driving now, hell it weighs more than my last SUV did!

Damn! It just went from hot to HOG as in gasguzzling hog! That is way too thirsty for my taste. Might get one if I get very rich at some point.
