I don't disagree with that statement but it's hardly an argument for the superiority of American cars. Europe is full of tiny car manufacturers that make really superb cars. I just watched the latest Top Gear episode and the Pagani Huayra presented there is an excellent example of such. Of course, it will cost more than a million dollars but that's besides the point, if you have an unlimited amount of cash and want the best of the best then you'll have to get a car from abroad.
