It looks kinda like someone jammed the bridge of the Enterprise into a Mini Cooper.
Is it weird that I am 27 and think some of the new Buicks look awesome? |

It's not my favorite, but as far as world sales go, my rebuttal is:
*Audi A3 *Mercedes A Class *BMW Mini Cooper VW Polo Fiat 500 Honda Fit The list goes on, but ALL of those are selling very well. The first 3 are 'luxury' a-cars. Look at the styling on the Mercedes/VW/Fiat/Honda- They're all unusual looking and it seems to attract the demographic their shooting for. It's hard to make a sleek A-car which banks on fitting 4 people in the smallest footprint, so you are going to have a very upright car with low overhangs and a small hood. |

A tick over 13.0 sec. and you're through the quarter-mile. It's a rush, of course, but not overly dramatic. Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

Oh ya don't get me wrong, I don't want any car that small (except MAYBE a Fiat Abarth). But there's money there at least in Europe in China so what the hell, go for it Mercury. It's as good looking as anything else in that segment.
