well you could say that about all the cars at the auction. i don't think i could bring myself, no matter how rich i was to spend more than about 50k on a car.

I'd pay 4.2 mil for the one from the dark knight maybe.....but the bike would have to come with it too.

I think that was the dumbest thing I have ever seen. Shocking to me that somebody would pay that much $ for something that ugly and useless.

Those George Barris creations are pretty cr@ppy. All look good on a TV camera but up close they are crudely finished.
Not bad money for foam, clay and bondo sculpture on an old Lincoln.
Old George cashed in big time.

Some if not all of the modifications to the Futura concept car that became the original Batmobile were done in metal by Bill Cushenbery.

They did later us the original to make fiberglass molds to make several fiberglass replicas, but the origianal #1 car is metal.
