Been playing off and on the past few days since you posted this. I used to be good in MW2: Mercs on Kali a lifetime ago. Not too good in this one. Already had one guy complain about a team kill because he walked right in front of me when I fired my AC/20 at an enemy.

That is going to happen. I've gotten pretty good at jerking my turret away from people that go in between me and the target, however if they walk right in front of you while right next to you, there's no way to avoid that....and I wouldn't feel bad. As I said, accidents do happen.

If you want some pointers on what I've learned, let me know.
