I just use a USB memory stick in my Camaro. Much cheaper than a IPod and works as well in the car.

Heh Heh....What he said, it is the simplest way to go, just plug it in the car and it plays my music randomly, however I too like things old school as well and listen to classic rock

Do you have the Nano and your cell phone hooked up by bluetooth in your Camaro? I read somewhere you could only have one BT device at a time running in your car.

My Camaro is at the shop getting mods so I can't see for myself yet.

my thoughts exactly.....which is why I don't own or have ANYTHING with their name on it. I have plenty of music in MP3 format and I have a 8 gig flash drive I have a lot of my favorite stuff for everyday driving.....and for long trips, I have a ZUNE that has never failed me, and is easy to use.

I thought the same way until I got an IPad a few years ago. My opinion changed.

I had to get my son a kindle because he wouldn't leave my iPad alone... He mastered it in two days. They're smart!

I use to stay away from apple products. Now it's all I have, almost. They work great, usually out last all others battery life and overall longevity of any other device.

Song quality is still lower than whale shit. Bark at the Moon by Ozzy plays really loud while Cause of Death by Obituary sounds like I ate too much chile and every now and then there will be a boom in my headphones which will leave me licking the window on my microwave with short term memory loss.

I don't blame Apple entirely since the bands I listen to are not known for their recording skills but I'd like to hear more effort from the song cleansing department but overall they did a decent job with the Nano.
