yeah...I met him once. Indianapolis...September 2008. Chevy was showing off the new Camaros for the first time in person at the Speedway. I had scheduled to meet Doug when I got there...never having met him before....and as I'm talking on the phone trying to see him in the crowd - up this guy comes and gives me a big hug! We've been best of friends ever since. The End.  He's also, as evidenced by this thread, a celebrity!

yes I did knock on his glass and I even asked if I could drive his car......his plate frame says "no you cant drive it".
 I did knock gently though. Is Tag in law enforcement? Oh and he didnt seem to be short as he pretty much filled up the front drivers seat, so I am pretty sure he is over 5'10" (taller than me). Cheers K |

Tag, if he had seen your post on Facebook with all those goodies you stocked up on he might not have knocked on your window.
He might have tried waving at you from 30 feet.................or made a sign out of an old pizza box asking, "hey are you the famous mod on Camaro5". But you are famous and people do "silly" things when they see celebrities. Done it myself on a few occasions.
