I am a serious trailer nerd. I could go to a theatre and watch trailers for two hours. I actually have a collection of 35mm movie trailers from the 1980's.

I've been there, sadly it is no more. And doesn't look like its coming back either.:( last time I was out there I had drinks at quarks bar. I don't remember what the drink was called, but it was damn good.

I thought it was pretty cool. I had a good run on the Flaming 7's slot machine that year. Good times, good times.

Sally, Did you ever go to the "Star Trek - The Experience" at the Hilton there by the convention center? I went when it first opened. I can't even remember how long ago that was! Back in the 90's some time.

Hi Paul, How are things with you?

I went at least a half dozen times over the years and it was always fun. The best part were the costumed actors (Klingons and Ferengi, mostly) freely roaming Quarks and "engaging" the customers.

During 1 visit, while on the bridge of the Enterprise waiting to board the shuttle "ride," the Commander on the bridge was a ringer for Jonathan Frakes, aka Will Riker - that was so cool. OMG, my nerd-dom is now official

It was a sad day when the models and memorabilia were sold at auction.

I doubt it will be back. :(

Matter of fact, the major idea being thrown around CBS for a new TV show is a reboot of The Next Generation but it would take place in the JJ Abrams timeline making it possible to do whatever they wanted.

I TNG - I have almost the entire series on DVD.
