![]() I don't like the new ford designs personally, they look sweet, but they all look very similar. |

Just so everyone is on the same page, this is a mule so the current Gen body work from the base of the windshield back is just camouflage for what is underneath. There were some C7 Corvette test mule photos a while back that looks like a C6 that didn't fit together properly because it was C6 body panels on top of the new chassis. Same situation here. The back half of the car is not staying the same. I saw several remarks about slapping a new front end on and got the impression that there might be some confusion. It is going to be an all new car.

I can't for the life of me see how some of you think it looks horrible. The new part if covered up.

Only difference is that the Ford Front end is very good and sportscar looking, the Malibu/Equinox are designed for a truck..............

Yea I really can't see how anyone could make a judgement based on this.
The front has layers and layers of covering, and the side/rear is the current gen. All we have to go on are the renderings from speculation and hearsay

I don't care much about "appearance", I am interested in what they're doing under the hood and suspension. GM better be improving on the Camaro as well, the current one is already a tad slower than the current 5.0. A lighter Mustang with a massaged 5.0 and IRS, Camaro will be in trouble again. Come on GM!

My next car will be a fully loaded Dodge Ram 3500 Dually Cummins diesel. Cars will just be eye candy to me. (I am not getting ride of my Camaro either)

Ugh. I was hoping people were wrong with the concepts, but I guess not...
They're probably going to sell well regardless, but I didn't want the Mustang to have the same front end as a Fusion. |

Still butt ugly. I know it performs like crazy in certain situations but easily the ugliest of the remade "pony" cars.

That's odd.... most people thought very well of the Malibu and Equinox styling on a car and balked when they put it on the overseas Colorado.
