Leno would be good, Jerry well, I dont think I can picture him talking about cars. I know that Jay does an article in popular mechanics about cars and I have seen videos of him and his collection, including his corvette section. He really knows his stuff

Jay would actually be really good for this. I mean he's no Clarkson but as said he knows about cars.

Leno would be good but just don't use the "American Stig" he won't fit in the exotics

I'm not too thrilled they're going the celebrity direction. I hope they at least get a couple guys or girls who can really drive. I mean REALLY drive, like pro level. But my personal picks for celebrities are Leno and Tim Allen.

I'd be pretty content with Jay Leno and Jerry Seinfeld being on the show. I don't think I'd so much like having Seinfeld but not Leno, but I'd be okay with Leno but no Seinfeld.

Tim Allen would be a fantastic choice, but he's been a Disney guy for a long time, so I don't think we'd see him on this show.

It'd probably also be good to see some sort of retired race car driver in the 3rd slot, someone who's got a personality. I'm not much of a NASCAR fan myself, but a lot of those NASCAR guys would work well in a show like this.

Jay Leno? You bet! Car nut is right on the nose when it comes to Leno. He knows his stuff and I bet he is probably VERY excited about being considered for this show.

Seinfeld? Had no idea he was into cars. If he's an avid Porsche fan, that's cool. I only hope he's into a little more than just Porsche's for this show.

Tim Allen? How so?

Tim Allen's a pretty big car guy also...Here's an older Autoblog post about a Z06 he put up for sale on eBay, showing off a bit of his garage. His personality would lend itself very well to a Top Gear style show, IMHO.

I wouldn't want to watch Seinfeld hosting the show.

Leno and Tim Allen would be awesome. They both know cars very well AND they're not nearly as annoying as Seinfeld.

I think Leno and Seinfeld would be ok as hosts... Leno's a big car guy and Seinfeld is pretty knowledgable, but not like Leno is... and I personally think that someone like Dale Jr., who is young, is a car guy and is also a professional driver, would be great as the third seat.

Jr will be too busy with NASCAR for 11 months of the year (December is normally off). They would need a retired driver, but I also think that anyone from NASCAR would be too biased towards domestics. Perhaps an Indy guy?
