Since giving up alcohol around 10 yrs ago, drink about a pot of coffee a day and love to chug a red bull every now and then. Need the help working third shift! Doc says bp is good.

no energy drinks, soda, or coffee for me at all. I already have way to much energy. Beer on the other hand, yes please.

Tragic what happened to that 14 year old girl. I think Monster Energy Drinks are stupid and so are the rest. But I also think that personal accountability is lost in this country any more.

It's your right to drink them but don't complain if you die.

It's your right to drink them but don't complain if you die. Should that be on labels everywhere now?

I've tried some of the energy drinks like:

Red Bull
Arizona Ice Tea
Sobe
Rockstar
NOS
Five Hour Energy

NOS was packed with more caffeine than the others combined. Drinking 1/4 - 1/3 of a bottle of NOS energy drink gave me a headache and Five Hour Energy tastes nasty and I didn't feel like I had any more energy than I did before I drank it.

As far as energy drinks are concerned, thanks but no thanks (except for Sobe, that's some good stuff). For the most part, I'll stick to Mountain Dew.

Also, beer is good too, but I don't use it for an energy drink! LOL

I drink one or two a day a couple times a week. I like the taste.

It said in that article, That girl who died had a arterial medical condition and probably other related problems, AND there are warnings on the can regarding caffeine sensitivity, So..

IMO, this is just another overblown news item about another frivolous lawsuit regarding another idiot.
