I agree. I test drove the mustang and camaro back to back right before I ordered the camaro. The 2 things I liked much more about the mustang was the sound and the visibility. One of my first mods will probably be a cat back for the camaro. Probably the MRT v2.

The mrt v2 is an axle-back exhaust, not cat-back. I would go ARK if you want a cat-back system.

Interesting that you guys think this sound good. Most of us on this side aren't a fan of this sound. I don't think he was either after some time. His name is Joshua and I actually bought his roush axlebacks shortly after this video was made.

No matter how well we perform, we always hear it about "never having that v8 rumble " from the GT guys. Long tubes and an off road x pipe sound awesome on the 5.0. Not so much on the sixes.

Conversely, I met a six cylinder Camaro guy who won a decibel level contest at a car show I was at over A LOT of v8 mustangs. I thought it sounded pretty good. Don't remember the manufacturers, but I know he was running long tubes, off road x pipe, and some kind of cat back.

He's first in that video. I appear around the 5:20 mark for anyone interested.

Anyways...I've listened to many Mustang V6 videos with long tube headers and in my opinion the Camaro has a slightly lower, more refined tone. I feel the Camaro has a slightly lower pitch (V8 guys dont need your lip here lol). This particular mustang is just a bit over the top and raspy.

You want loud, raspy, and lots of growl you can do it in a Camaro as well:

But again that one is a bit loud/raspy for my tastes.
Yeah, that sounds better than the Mustang above... for a pink car.

Cool video thanks for sharing. You car doesn't sound too bad I've noticed the V6 Mustangs seem to slow their RPMS down when reving high in nuetral....is that normal? Is that easier on the engine?
