That's sick!

No shame in it!

Now if you bought like a prius or a civic Si.. you'd hear bashing.

Grats on the car. I hit the same stretch between NY and PA frequently and your numbers sound right, but those numbers are much better than if you were an ex-Mustang owner

Spend 2 days in Ocean City Maryland this past weekend and my buddys and I literally played a drinking game where you drank X amount of seconds for every Mustang that passed our place... when the 12th Mustang went by within 5 or 10 minutes, things started to get a bit hazy

Theres my anecdote to make myself feel better, congrats on the sexy car

Oh and welcome to the Jag maintenance nightmare! My brother has an XJR and every time we take it into the shop (about once every 6 months or so) it's close to a grand if not more! Granted he has about 100k on the car but still loves it and wouldn't trade it for anything.

I hear ya on the there's starting to be a lot of Camaros on the road. Thats the reason I got the vert, Im still the only vert in my area. I did see a gray one but not as cool as mine lol.. However, that Jag will kick ass and bring you happiness, just make sure you get the extended warranty. My boss has had 4 Jags still has 2 of them, he's a Jag freak and he has had some trouble with them. Especially on the trans. just saying. Otherwise enjoy your new baby and have fun with it...

Jag's are classic British styling. They went through the "dark-ages" in the 70's and early 80's with all kinds of problems, the worst being electrical issues from hell that didn't get solved by anyone.

Finally, sanity prevailed in the early 90's and the cars were again magnificent. Nope, no good. Then Ford, parent of those Mustang things, bought it and it has been a Ford/Jaguar ever since. Enough said. I think they share the same wood trim with the Lincoln Town car or old Mercury Marquis.........

My first car was a Jaguar XJS V12, so beautiful, but we spent more time working on it than driving it. I haven't heard if Modern Jags are more reliable. But yours is beautiful. You don't see a lot of coupes, most are verts, the rear end on the coupe is particularly lovely, in fact, most Jags have nice rear ends

Nice car! You could have bought a new CTS-V and easily smoke an SS and that jag, probably have saved some $$ too. That's just my opinion and GM bias talking though!
