Racing on the GSP?

Most people aren't racing on there...they are rushing to work.

I had a race the other day. I was approaching the counter to pay for my cup of fruit and I noticed another guy with a sandwich heading for the same line!

I then pretended the fruit cup was a steering wheel and made air shifter motions and engine noises and scooted cleanly ahead of him, then making hard braking noises.

At least, that's what I did in my mind. I am not quite cool enough to pull that off IRL.

I had not had my first Camaro more than a week before I had two people wanting to race, one was a guy in a Dodge Little Red Express Truck and the second was a guy in a Ford Explorer with a V8. Many in those fart can cars tried to a bunch but I would just look at them and laugh, that would piss them off good. After I put the HP Emblems on it the race challenges died down to almost none.
So far in my new vert I have had no challenges in the month I have had it, but Many Many have asked on both how fast is it and how fast have I had it up to. I usually answer , "It's fast enough for me..." and, "oh just around 80."

Haven't had the race chellenge...yet. I have had a couple of younger fellas pull up along side in a Crown Vic that asked me to do a burnout at the light. I politely declined, citing the cost of the Pirellis as the reason.

Just last weekend a guy pulled into the parking lot as I was getting my Camaro ready for a show, driving a 'vert 5th gen. He parked like 7 stalls away and revved it up a few times, then left. Still puzzled by that one. I wasn't impressed.

As for testosterone O.D. idiots who want to race? Pffft. I sure hope they don't think I'm itimidated ..or impressed. Yes, it happens to me on a regular basis. It seems that some people are way too impressed with themselves.
I did have a neighborhood kid on a skateboard offer to race me for pinks.
Cool kid.

There is a distinct difference between speeding and racing. Speeding only involves one idiot
