Really lame if he was that desperate. Aggressive tailgating could be interpreted as an act of provocation. I doubt very much that he would be helping old ladies cross the street.... he was most likely looking for "road rage". I wonder if the same individual would ever pull the same sh*t on someone driving a Hyundai.

Bahh thats hooey, if a cop is speeding then he has almost as good a chance of killing someone as anyone else does. Do you think the cop would just race him up to the speed limit and then back off and let him go speeding off alone. I doubt it He would be there speeding along with racer A right up until the marked cars showed up. maybe even after they showed up. The only thing the officer has on his side is a bit of driving training, but we have all seen the videos on cops in pursuits crashing almost as much as the criminals.
I am on the side of the law, but lets be realistic especially in an unmarked car @ 3 in the am. Hell a drunk driver could take both of them out

seriously what if a deer ran out and you had to slam on your breaks and officer looking for street racers rear ends you. or you don't see him sitting in your blind spot and change lanes and get clipped by him. All to give you a speeding ticket? please

Next time when he comes running up on your bumper slam on your brakes. Tell him you saw a dog run out and was avoiding him. Since he wasn't giving enough room wouldn't that be driving in a unsafe manner? Entrapment or not, its not to bright to try and spark a street race. What if someone did run out or you needed to stop or swerve to avoid killing someone? Im sure the unmarked driver would pull the LEO card and blame you.

Lol that is crazy OP. nice work not falling for his bait. like others said, you should of slammed on the brakes n had him rear end you to teach him a lesson. what he did was plain wreckless and because he's a cop i bet he thinks he is doing it safely. what an idiot. the same guy who is sworn to protect and serve is out there in an unmarked car driving wreckless by tailgating and following to closely. he is worse than the street racers in my opinion and a flat out idiot for pulling people over for speeding or racing and yet he is the cause of it. find out who it is so i can call his office and write a letter of complaint. i love my car to much to have him rear end me, but i would of started following him until he stopped or i could learn where he "hangs" out.

Years ago, in my 3rd Gen, I had an unmarked cop do the same thing during the day. He wouldn't stop until I did race him. He taunted me for 30-45 min. and even put both of us in danger(with other traffic etc..) I finally took care of him (against my better judgement) and left him way behind. When he finally caught up to me he flashed his badge and told me to pull over. I gave him my best pointer finger and declined, then said have a good day and turned off. Never saw him again.
I don't condone this sort of thing but he carried it way to far. They should never be allowed to taunt other drivers like that. Just wish cell phones were around then so I could have video taped it.

Years ago cops could and did get away with all kinds of f*cked up sh!t. I could tell you many stories but this is a cop shop so I won't.

Not gonna slam on my breaks and wreck a 40,000 car, just because he wants to play. And this is a town which a couple of years ago 2 on duty cops rented a Viper, drove it like 2 maniacs, crashed it and killed on of the cops.
