Also, if you look at around 1:15 you'll see what I believe is a mold for the rear bumper, too.
If it is the rear bumper it is a good change up from what we have had for the last 25+ years haha. I am more then ready to see the corvette ascend higher into the poormans super car regime.

Way more than that. My boss quoted a two cavity mold for some 4" diameter sprinklers at $150k and it's nowhere near the size of that mold.

You are totally right, gotta love how GM tried to say the Jalopnik rendering wasn't even close... it definitely is going to be different, can't wait to see the whole thing.

My dad works with steel panels so that was right in the range where he thought.

I showed my boss the video and he said it could be in the million dollar range.

It is cool seeing all the videos and stuff. I am thinking it could be right around a million. I believe that would be fair. Working with plastic seems quite a bit different from all the pieces my dad quotes dies for.

Send a message via AIM to Mr. Wyndham
I'm seeing a much more "exotic"-looking Corvette based on that front clip alone...beautiful!

If they didn't have the live shots of the tooling I was gonna say it was some prankster with CAD skills making a fake video.
