If GM wanted to make a larger muscle car under the Chevy flag, the should call it a Chevelle, IMO. GTO is reserved for Pontiac use only and it wouldn't cross over well. But IF this happens, GM needs to not make the mistake of putting 4 doors on it like the Dodge did with the Charger.

Dodge did the smart thing of making a 4 door charger. The market for 2 door cars is very small right now; they needed to make it 4 door. Their 2 door car is the challenger!!! Dodge was able to resurrect the Charger nameplate, but still make a pretty popular car.

I do not see GM bringing another 2 door car because they would just increase inter-brand competition.

how can you make a 4 door still look sporty or visually appealing?

i want to imagine something camaro like but bigger and really sexy looking not just some bulky machine

the last gto was just too ordinary looking...it looked like a regular pontiac which is why it didn't sell well..

something like a gto needs to stand out

the styling would have to be a dramatic change from the camaro to work

They had already planned a chevelle(2 dr version of the 2010 impala),but the rear wheel drive impala has been held off for now.

2 door version of the Malibu or the Impala? I always thought the Malibu was a decendant of the Chevelle

they had a lot of stuff planned with the zeta platform until they started to get into trouble

bell air and a few good looking buicks as well...i think one was the buick velletee

and i hate it when people say that the foreign cars are better designers...thats not true...its just that gm is held back by things like legacy costs and government regulations

yea that front end is toooooo volt like and a touch to modern to bring back a retro name plate
