i'm happy to see that, i'm not alone thinking that GM is very very slow to put a car on the market they loose so many sales they are always the last ones to make a move .
just the ZL1 vert why it's not out yet? springtime/summer is in the air,it will be release in end of summer /autumn.. |

I'm sure you will miss the Camaro, but you certainly bought a worthy successor. Good luck with your new "baby"!

You already know how I feel about the situation!! Lol I think you made the right choice the Camaros were fun when they were the fastest cars on the road but ford and dodge have stepped up and answered the call!! I love my 2012 Boss 302 and I'm sure it will be just as fast or faster than 11.94@121 with just bolt ons while retaining better driveablity!! The biggest thing that hurts the Camaro is the ability to mount a 15 inch slick and skinny!!! That alone is the reason people in mustangs are running low 12's and high 11's so easily. Plus I weighed my car with an 1/4 tank of gas and it came in at 3540 with out me in it completely stock!! If I change out the intake and exhaust then I loose another 40 pounds or so!! The challenger though hands down is the best looking of the big 3 and I will never change my mind about that but it is also the heaviest. However that 392 is no joke it def holds its own and stock to stock it is just as fast if not faster than an LS3!!! Good luck brother and have fun with that SRT-8!!!

Best run so far is 11.94@121 LPE 3.91's Coming soon NW 102, and DSS DS, then car should be complete!!!

Good choice OP. Plenty room for the kids and it hauls ass. A Chipmunk would be uncomfortable in the back seat of a Mustang.

The thing is that you started off bad by putting money on things that you didn't know if they went well or not when it's about upgrades, and this is why there are a few consultancy companies which can determine what is good/bad for your car, especially a Camaro since it's a popular model. All you did was bad business, but at least you gained experience, and I hope you won't have similar ****-ups with the Challenger, although if I was in your situation I would have bought a SRT8 Charger, just because it's a muscle car/full-sized 4-door sedan hybrid, both a powerful mix of power and practicality for a family.

Good decision. I'm at my last phase trying to replace a crappy high HP clutch I was mislead into buying, and that's it, I'm not doing any more. My car is very fast for the street, and can be faster any time I want to swap pulleys.
I'm happy with the mods, and the speed, handling and breaking now, but I can not continue with any more mods as it would be diminishing returns for the resale of the car. Erik
