If some guy says I'm a murderer, or some crazy woman at a stop light says I'm killing Mother Earth with my gas guzzler, I put it in the same category as the dude down on 4th and Main... the guy with the blue van covered in bumper stickers, who has been letting us know for years that THE END IS NEAR!!! It's been 'near' for a long time.... that dude has gotten old, and he's still as crazy as the day he started.

Anyway... there are a lot of completely irrational nuts out there, and to give them a second thought is just a waste of a thought, to argue with them is only battling a fool. No point... let 'em be crazy, I'll stay over here on the sane side of things.

this is from peter singer a bioethics professor at Princeton univ.
By Peter Singer's own ridiculous logic, Peter Singer is a murderer. By selfishly keeping 80% of his salary for himself instead of giving it all to an organization, he is committing murder. See how that works.

Peter Singer apparently does not realize that in order to have the resources to support charitable and relief organizations, wealth must be produced. It is economies that produce the least that are least able to support people. It takes wealth to be able to support those things he wants us to support, so if no wealth is being produced by an economy (no one making money off producing and selling cars, appliances, electronics, or any other consumer good that isn't absolutely necessary to own) there is no means of supporting his causes.

In short, he doesn't want to spend (waste in his mind) resources feeding the golden goose, but he still wants the eggs.
