I'm with you....it was incoherent to me.

So you want to trade one 12 second 400+ hp 4 seat, 2 door coupe for a different 12 second 400+ hp 4 seat, 2 door coupe? You already have an awesome car, just stick with it and don't lose your ass on it. When you buy that GT, you're gonna wish you got a Boss, or a ZL1, or a GT500. Then in a few years, you will get rid of it and get one of the big boys. Then, in a few years, you will trade that in for whatever is hot at the time, probably a ZR11 or a Z09 with the Z10 performance package. And when you get one of those, little Billie that grew up next door will have a flying car. My point is, sounds like you're bored with the SS and you want to jump ship. If you get a GT, you would be jumping in to a ship with just a different body. It really is a lateral move. Go buy a 911 C2S and call it a day. Or get a Corvette. Move up in car class in both prestige and performance.

I was thinking the same thing, I don't understand why someone would go from SS to GT or visa versa. I realize the styling may appeal to someone more so than the other one, but if it is about being bored with your car. I don't think either car is going to keep you that much more satisfied.

save up and buy one of the "big dogs" ZL1, GT500, maybe a used Z06?
