Not to be an ass, and I know some of you guys will be mad at me for this, but I would have immediatly called a friend over and put that scion in the ditch... Most likely doesnt have his parking brake on and its fwd.

So your reaction to a non violent point, (as stated he could of keyed the car) to an action that is in fact an infraction, at least in GA if the property owner calls the police, is to decide to pausibly cause damage to the persons vehicle in retaliation, stranding said person(s) until at more cost to themselves they get a tow and/or another ride home......I know you stated what you werent being, but that would be my definition of one. I will assume you meant that post with a tongue in cheek kind of sarcasm

If I had done that, I would have taken a picture like he did. If my car DID get damaged, the photo is going right to the police. Not real smart to put a car in the ditch or do ANYTHING being that he might also be in the bushes videotaping your reaction to finding your car blocked in.

1) If you parked in two spots, YOU DESERVE THIS!!!!
2) The proper way to respond to this is to slink away sheepishly for parking like a douchebag, and do what the car did...which is to NOT PARK LIKE THAT AGAIN!!!!

At least, that's the way I see it...

No I meant it 100%. Why should you be let off for being an a$$hole (by parking within inches of my car) because you think I am one? It is not illegal to take up two parking spaces.

It goes both ways, it takes two to tangle.

Now this could of been an isolated incident and both people know eachother type of thing. But if you do something like this, I would be fully prepared for the consequences. Who knows some 6'4" 300 lb guy comes out and beats the living daylights out of you whos the winner in that one?

What I am saying is leave people alone, you never know you are going to piss off on when they are having a "BAD DAY."

"bad day" = a$$ whooped, stabbed, shot, who knows maybe they are a damn good lawyer and will just sue you for everything you have.

Just putting that out there

OK swifty, where in my post did I say it was illgal? I stated they would get an infraction, or citation IF the property owner called the police. So not only are you unneccessarily violent, you dont seem to read that well. And what did the guy do that parked close? as far as I can tell he parked within the parking space, its not his fault the idiot in the red car cant park worht a crap.

Also you would think someone who thinks beyond 3 seconds ahead would realize that if you escalate the issue, push the guys car into the ditch, you should not be surprised if the guy then returns and caps a couple in the back of your head while you arent looking in retaliation, this was someone who parked there every day, so it is to be assumed he worked or lived there so it wouldnt of been hard.

But then I guess you think your the only unneccessarily over reacting violent person around? I just dont understand people whos first reaction to stuff is to damage stuff or injure people in retaliation like a 2 year old who had his toy taken away.

I had swift comebacks to all of these, but have taken the "high road" just like the person in the Scion should have done. Left the red car alone and parked somewhere else. This afterall was the point of my responses. Except for the pushing the car in the ditch part.

I am sorry though, I could not read what you wrote very well. The english language you had typed was so butchered that my only reaction was .....

I do believe that (depending on where you're parked) you can, in fact, get a ticket for taking up two parking spaces.

Revise your statement.

Well I actually was interested in the legalities of this, so I did some research with the Ohio BMV online laws.

Here they are,
" PARKING
A vehicle must be parked facing the direction of traffic on that side of the street, parallel to and not more than 12 inches from the right curb. On one-way streets, vehicles may be parked parallel to and not more than 12 inches from the right or left curb. Local ordinances permit angle parking in some jurisdictions.
Stopping, Parking or Standing Prohibited
No person shall stop, park or stand a vehicle in any of the following places, except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic, or in compliance with the directions of a law enforcement officer or traffic control device:
1. On a sidewalk (except a bicycle)
2. In front of a public or private driveway
3. Within an intersection
4. Within 10 feet of a fire hydrant
5. On a crosswalk
6. Within 20 feet of a crosswalk or intersection
7. Within 30 feet of a flashing beacon, stop sign or traffic-control signal
8. Between a safety zone and the adjacent curb or within 30 feet of points
on the curb immediately opposite the ends of a safety zone, unless the
traffic authority indicates a different length by signs or markings
9. Within 50 feet of the nearest rail of a railroad crossing

10. Beside or opposite a street excavation or obstruction when such parking

would obstruct traffic
11. Alongside a vehicle stopped or parked at the edge or curb of a street
12. On a highway bridge or within a highway tunnel
13. At any place where signs prohibit parking
14. Within one foot of another parked vehicle
15. On a roadway portion of a freeway, expressway or thruway"

It seems that according to Ohio Law there is no jackass way to park that is illegal OTHER THAN PARKING WITHIN 1 FOOT OF ANOTHER PARKED VEHICLE.

I can't believe it either actually but the Scion could have been cited for this... Obviously this is 100% up to the officer but according to the law in Ohio the scion was the one that should receive an infraction.
