I guarantee he's gonna be great. on screen made up all scruffed out he'll be an excellent replacement. It's not really a huge secret but what the hell car do u think Max will be driving. I'm sure there will be a transition from the Mad Max XB into the Road Warrior XB. Makes sense because that's when Fury Road is taking place. They'd be stupid no to have the XB as the car, it's actually as Iconic to the series as Max himself. Like Eleanor in gone in 60 to Haliki or Cage, or Bullit to McQueen. I still get some wood in Mad Max when he rips out of the police garage on his revenge spree. It's awesome.
