Unless things change pretty quickly, you better get used to it.

In 2025 the CAFE standards call for 54.5mpg. The SmartCar doesn't even get 54.5mpg. So God knows what we will be forced to drive in the next decade or so if the EPA isn't abolished.

wow, that's a fancy looking laundry basket!

But seriously, it looks pretty nice for a micro-car. But I really don't think I'd try to fit into anything smaller than a mini-cooper. If that thing has 4 seats, there is no way I could fit inside unless the front seat is touching the back seat.

CAFE is just an average. As long as manufacturers can sell high-MPG cars to offset low-MPG cars, they will have no problem hitting the targets.

Plus CAFE MPG and EPA MPG are two wildly different things. EPA is way lower.

I like the car myself. Neat kinda retromodern design to it but its also somewhat sporty. Yes the car sounds awesome heard many vids and once in person.

I think I understand what the commercial was trying to get across now... You're not sure what to think of it at first, a little scared to try it.... but once you drive it you're in love. I definitely don't find it attractive, but I'm sure it'd be fun as hell to drive.

Yep, the front seat area is supposed to be extremely roomy in them. I like it, I like the looks, and 160 HP and around 2200 pounds, should be pretty entertaining to drive!
