Yes, the SVT Raptor is a pile of junk. Obviously Chevy/GM vehicles have never had any sort of problems. They are perfect. They can easily duplicate everything Ford SVT produces, because as we all know, they do it all the time.

Not being able to do something is very different from not wanting to do it.

The All Terrain would be amazing. 3/4 ton, diesel, and awesome.

If that's what you want to believe, then good for you. Ask yourself this though, why wouldn't they want to produce something to take sales away from Ford? Why not build a competitor for the Raptor? Why not build a competitor for the ecoboost F150? Why not?

IMHO, Ford is just that much ahead of chevy when it comes to designing trucks. Their performance is a notch above the competition. Obviously 99.9% of you will disagree but it's true.

Why not? Probably for the same reasons that Ford doesn't have a competitor to the Silverado Hybrid, the Corvette, or the Volt; and why neither Ford nor GM has anything like a Jeep Wrangler or Ram Power Wagon: they choose to spend their money elsewhere. Its all about getting a return on investment, and even if the money is there for 1 company to do it, once you get 2 or 3 into the kiddie sized pool it easily becomes overcrowded & everyone loses.

And as for Ford trucks being superior to Chevy's, I'd present the HD's as a counter point. By the numbers, the Ford looks like it has the advantage. But in every single comparison I've seen in the last couple years, the twin GM products are either just as capable or are clearly superior to Fords.
