Level 37, and I am a sneaky archer. I deal out HUGE crits as I'm able to re-stealth during many fights. Most of the time I kill off groups one at a time, and they never know where I am.

... I tried to play but was frusterated that i had to follow quests the WHOLE time and having to walk in a game for an hour to the next quest was incredibly boring...

I tried to find some places to "grind" but if you kill anything anywhere, they never respawn again

Well, leveling up is based on skill increases. And you can increase skills in several areas without leaving town (Speech, smithing, enchanting, pickpocket, lockpicking, illusion, perhaps conjuration too.) Plus the others can increase via trainers or just running and gunning across the landscape.

Aggro some mudcrabs and you can work on block, conjuration, armor and restoration all at one time.

I am at level 45 and have at least 120 hours in, taking my time through the game deading with the bugs (PS3) on quests so they all complete, just enjoying the game, no rush, etc. Tend to collect items along the way and check them off a list. I can completely see this being a 300+ hour game for sure.

I played Oblivion (PC) and swore never again due to all the time/bugs but here I am..... hah.

Haven't found any Daedric armor/weapons yet, basically in full ebony including two swords. Got 3 or 4 Daedric artifacts though but nothing really great.

Daedric and Dragonscale are really rare - even at level 81. Although if you hold off on some quests that give leveled items as rewards, you can occasionally get Daedric items that way. Most of them that I found randomly though are usually enchanted with crap enchants anyways. :(

Make your own dragon scale armor. Get ur smithing up to 100.

^^ You also have to make sure you level up your smithing skills so you can make the armor. Example, I have 100 for smithing right now but can't make the dragon scale yet cause I have to add the 'stars' to access that skill.

Same but my character is lvl 27. It's pretty fun playing a sneaky character

I conjure 2 Deadric Lords and then fire arrows if needed. Typically I just walk behind and loot bodies.
