While I may have no love for my family's—car of necessity, not of choice—Impreza TS wagon, the truth is that Subarus are cars to be respected. They tend to fit into that ricer category, but they back that up with impressive boxer engines that fight with some high-performers. The AWD that Subaru implements in all US-bound cars is downright awesome for driving, and they can take a lot of abuse before something goes wrong.
I especially respect the ones that apparently went rally racing or mudding, but there is a lot to be said about street Subarus. We don't know what those drivers have done in autocross or track times from these pictures. Even in 400-hp V8s, we should all keep an eye out for little turbo 4-bangers, like the STi. Respect all cars. Love your own.

Can someone tell me how the hell this dirt got on this car? It looks like someone purposely put it on there, which in my mind, is worse than ricers putting decals on their cars. There is no tire splatter... and there's more on the roof than on the sides. Did they seriously "dirt" these cars up for the show? Thats pitiful if so...

I've gotten my old Caprice dirtyier! and without throwing mud on it! Why is it that so many people think they bolt an ugly ass park bench to their trunk they think it looks good/goes faster?? I mean, some people might say that about my Cobalt, or the Camaro's available high rise... but jeese! At least ours look half good!!

Cool photos although some are riced out which I can't stand. The white 08 I've seen before, nice guy who owns it, good amateur photographer.
Not sure why the OP post's these on here (same with the supra meet). Just going to bashed for the most part. I plan on having my STI as my DD and a Camaro Convertible as my good weather, no kids allowed car. I want all my driving to be fun not just when it's nice out. |
