They missed some of the big ones too that really kill a lot of people when misused... the benzos, Xanax and Valium. Some anti-depressants... Sleeping pills like Ambien... Those can work perfectly and be very helpful to some, but the slightest mistake of mixing the wrong two or adding a couple drinks and your worm food.

The celebs that are dying think they are safe because they aren't hooked on coke or heroin.... but then get wiped out by a mixed prescription drugs and alcohol. A couple of benzos and a couple of drinks, and you're at high risk of stopping breathing, heart stopping, or aspirating your dinner into your lungs.

Old topic, but really timely since apparently Whitney just did herself in with the deadly benzo/alcohol combo. Tox report will probably show at least two different benzos/anti anxiety/depressants and alcohol. The perfect mix to kill someone. All while her friends think she is doing great because she's off coke and heroin.

Most of the others have a long list of side effects that are rare. But Accutane is some pretty bad stuff. It's supposed to be used as a last resort only, and is usually followed closely by a dermatologist, w/ birth control highly recommended for women of child-bearing age.

Better to stick with the old tried and true medications, the new stuff has not been around long enough to know what other effects may develop years down the road. Not even electronic cigarettes are safe, this old dude lost some front teeth and burned his face.... http://abcnews.go.com/Health/electri...ry?id=15645605
