Which do you think is a bigger deal, The Super Bowl or The World Series? - Page 2

Moved to the sports lounge

How often do you hear a big event described as "Its the World Series of ___ " compared to hearing "Its the Superbowl of _____ "? The Superbowl is the bigger event.

As far as spectator sports go ... the pace of action in baseball is so slow that you could probably type everything thats happening in real time, which makes it pretty boring to just watch. Football, while its a lot of stop and go, the action itself is pretty quick and dynamic. Plus, there is no way to sufficiently describe a big open field tackle.

i would rather watch paint dry than watch a baseball game.do they still have any americans playing on any of the teams?

Super Bowl

Keep in mind a lot of people like women tune in to the Super Bowl because of commercials and the halftime show.

Super Bowl is advertised more.

Good grief, the Super Bowl is a far bigger deal, just check the ratings. Baseball is one of the top 5 most boring sports on the planet.

ask around...specially the younger generation, many will ask..."what is a world series?" Is that poker? But everyone knows the "Super Bowl"
