GOD Bless America... can I still legally print this on an open forum? I'll check the latest laws, lol.

Where else in the world can you have a discussion about "Camaros and gun storage locations"

BMTGIE, IMHO, although you feel you have found a great location to store your Glock... I believe you should consider safety first. As already mentioned earlier, the seat handle is not a safe place for a loaded gun... if you can't carry concealed, you should really consider holstering your gun and finding a place for the holster that is with in easy reach.

Good luck

These are great statistics and all possible because of the 6 million concealed carry permits...mine included!....lol.

On a more serious note: What happens if he forgets the gun in it's factory holder and someone else tries to adjust the seat postion and grabs the trigger instead?

I never thought of that! Great idea. Think I'll use it.

Put them in holsters with a snap or get them in the glove box if you don't have a cc permit.
Good thing I live in AZ...No rules whatever.

I always thought a shotgun rack on the back window would be a great addition to the camaro.

One of the things that a good holster does is protect the trigger from being pulled accidentally, both while stowed and while the weapon is being removed. As you're carrying a Glock, that protection is even more important, as there is no external safety.

Your solution does not provide this protection. Please think of a new one.

Yeah in that picture there's not a round chambered but I would imagine that the OP would normally chamber a round.

I have to agree, while this is a clever spot, it's kinda dangerous.

As for this stupid apple argument that randomly started; why do you think there's a USB port in the camaro? Sure maybe you can plug it in to your shitty MP3 player but it's definitely more for an ipod. The camaro interfaces with my iphone and i can control the music through the factory radio.

Kinda ironic to trash anything apple when the camaro is designed to work with their products...

In Ohio for people with a concealed carry it was as follows: In a Vehicle the weapon must be in plain view with ammo removed. Then it went to it has to be in a closed compartment. And the last change and current law is the weapon can be anywhere and loaded just as long as children and or other occupants can not get it. So if you are by yourself then the gun can be anywhere. If there are occupants then it's on you or in a compartment.
