Where the shit are you at with all that snow? It almost looks as bad as being at homeport in connecticut, lol... The few deployments my boat did seemed to drag us to all the places that were really really hot. When seawater temps exceed 90 degrees at depth, you know it's gonna be a rough one...

I'm located in the northern most part of Afghanistan. It snowed for 2 days straight and we got way over 6" that time. The unit that I'm supporting out here said that the winters get real bad.

We are getting through it.

As long as all goes well here, I probably won't deploy for over 2 years. When I do, I look forward to spreading the Camaro5 gospel everywhere I go.

A lot of us have been there, and it can truely suck at times. With more and more access to the internet, it can make it harder to put what is going on at home into the back of our minds so we can carry on day to day. My deploying days are over and I am about to retire but, I truely miss the Deployments with my Brothers and Sisters. Leaning on them will always make it a little easier. Everyone stay safe, heads on a swivel and come home SOON!!!

I just got back myself in September. It was rough being gone but once it's over you'll look back thinking dang that went pretty quick. Thanks for serving and keep your head down.
