Hey Shan I got the same exact color and model too. Congrats. The mods are endless..I think IOM stripes would look cool on the black..I'm going with that color for my stripes.

Ouch yeah if u don't need a front plate in Georgia your better off putting a custom plate on the front. The holes probably aren't patchable so your basically screwed but cool ride!

shan1997, CONGRATS and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wive's, husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Welcome to the forum!!! A lot of people go with the blacked out look, if you like that do it up. However, if i was you I would go with AACstyle's colorshift halos, and fog lights. It will give your lights a more impressive look!!

In terms of changing the bowtie (as many of you have mentioned) how do I go about doing that? Does the dealership do it? Any info is much appreciated.

No the dealer does not do it, Get a piece of vinal (your choice of color) from ebay for around 10$, very easy to apply and changes the car completely from the ugly gold one.

Welcome to Camaro5! Nice ride. There is a DIY post on this site on how to change the color of your bowtie with vinyl. Go to any sign shop and they just might give you some scraps to do the job.

The dealer's body shop did my black outs. I ordered billet aluminum black bowties and tail light bezels. Just didn't want vinyl on my baby!

The body shop installed the bowties, bezels, painted my tail lights and side markers with a mix of black paint and clear coat (just barely legal), and installed a front license plate at my request.

Later, they also did the painting to my engine bay parts - black and red theme.

This was not a cheap route, but I wanted quality on my new ride.

PM me if you have any questions. Glad to help.
