Went to see the first one and I shoulda asked for my money back. Won't waste any more money on them. Maybe if they have a Movie Suckfest showing the campiest schlock ever made, it might rank right up there with that.

Yes, but I don't have my TV set up to watch movies over the net. I've never bothered to buy the necessary Samsung adapter to mate it with my router.

I don't count Netflix because the picture quality of their streamed movies don't stack up, and I can't stand to watch a movie on a PC so that's out of the question.

LOL. You haven't seen bad movies. These are nowhere near the top.

Let's see if I'm close on how PA3 goes....

Events occur, and someone somewhere finds a video tape or tapes about a missing family/family member. They decide to look at it and see what happened for clues.

Family life is going ok. Family wants to record most of their lives because it's fun to look back later, etc., etc., pick a reason. But they're going to record everything.

Something is wrong with the house. Someone either died there or something about the house or a family member is haunted.

Weird stuff happens in the house. Drawers left open, stuff moved, stuff broken, pet goes missing/killed, whatever. Confuses the pee out of the family. One person freaks and is convinced something is wrong, the other says hmm, something isn't right but we got to figure it out. They decide to record at night to see if they can detect anything themselves. More weird stuff happens a bit worse each time. Not sure what the message is, but the family apparently isn't getting it either.

End of movie:

This is where the actual scary part would be inserted, if there is one. Everything leading up to it will be lame. Either family moves out at the end, or something happens to them that nobody can find a trace of one or more of them again, save for this tape.

Pretty close? We shall soon see.

Paranormal Activity 3 is going to be about when the girl was a child. I don't know if you watched the 1st one but she said this all happened when she was a child and her house mysteriously burnt down. So we are going back in time again like the 2nd one to see how all the paranormal activity actually started.

My son went to see P3 at a preview at the theater he works at. He called me on my way to work tonight and said he thought it was scarier than 1 and 2. He was freaked out. So, we'll see...
