I don't think they will have an automatic version. If so, this would steer some customers toward the ZL1.

Why do you think the GT500 needs chassis improvements? From everything I've read, the chassis that underpins the Mustang is every bit as good as what underpins the Gen5 Camaro.

I can see you saying suspension improvements, but not chassis.

I said months ago that word from good sources said Ford was planning a 600+hp GT500. The GT500 chassis is fine as is ...shoot, ask the M3 and Porsche owners if you disagree. It may need a bit tweaking to handle the increase in HP though. Win win for us all! ZL1 with 580hp vs GT500 600+hp. Yeah baby!
