The best part is, it is expected to get around 30 MPG highway.
 Hmm. Let's see. That's 1 MPG more than a freakin' Camaro nearly twice the weight and with more than twice the horsepower! And if GM were to build a "CEUBE or BOXX or BRIKK" designed to look like a crossbreed between a pitbull and the ottoman it humped...using the Camaro V6 drive train with 304 HP...the automotive world would ridicule, denounce, and mock the notion.  Yeah, I think it is all about perception at this point...

Aztek wins (loses?) forever.
The Xb is homely, but at least it was a practical homely. I mean it's a mini-delivery van. The Cube? well I just don't know about that. I think I need to see it in person first. Certainly not an attractive car though. As far as the gas mileage thing goes- you have to be fair in that this class of car (b-car) is specifically designed to be a city car. Ya 29 vs 30 on the freeway but it's rated in the 26 range for city driving, so it's 30% more efficient around college campuses and in-city delivery routes. |
