As long as my car had the temp PA tags on the back, no one could do anything so I got to drive around NJ for a month with no front license plate. Now I have the show n go holder and just hope I don't forget to put it back up.

Though, I would be the one to sit there and **** with a cop with the electric one to keep putting it up and down while I'm pulled over.

I had plates to start with just transfered them. Thats why if i had temp plates sure just stick it in my window and go. Not even put the front plate bracket on unlike some i just swaped them off my old car. Made geting this car on the road easer and faster i only owned ONE car at a time in my life. lol. Also in mass unless you get custom plates the RMV. Has a stock pile of them behind the counter so when you go they hand you plates on the spot. Dont have to wait to have them made. Walk in reg your car walk out with plate. One thing i like about mass

Also to note two hidden things about Mass most dont know.

1. they only had the front plate law sence i think 1989 i think. Before that no so we have two types of plate Green Lettering and Red Lettering. They trying super hard to phase out the "green lettering plates" cause if you have "green lettering" plates you can only have one on the rear legaly. Its a loop hole

2. Like most states if you have Dealer Plate with a D on it you can only have one plate on legaly as well i know this for MA and CT

You cant be ticketed for no front plate if the car is parked.
You cant be ticketed for no front plate if you are in a parking lot
You cant be ticketed for no front plate if you are not operating on a public roadway or on public property (off-road in a park, etc requires a plate)

Go to court.

So, I have a Dodge Viper that was exempted from having a front plate in a state where it is required. This came about by submitting to the state that putting a front plate on the car would significantly black the airflow to the vehicle due to the car's design. I don't know if you could get this to fly on a Camaro, or in any of those states listed, but I can tell you it has worked at least once.

On both of the campuses where I went to college (Indiana university and University of Louisville) the police are actually state police officers, not just campus security, so their jurisdiction goes off campus as well. And, because they are state schools, they are public property. But if those things you say were true wherever this took place, then I would certainly pursue that course.

Usually the charges are dropped if you install the plate before court. Zip-tie it to the grill and take a picture.

Get the JacFab mount and put the plate on semi-permanently.
